Weekend Fun

SO......had a BLAST! Like amazing time. Who would have guessed. I was so nervous before hand. Literally threw myself into a panic attack the night before. But there was no need.

We went bowling. He had only bowled 5 pin once before....so I thought I had a fighting chance. Best 2 out of 3..... pfft!! He won... of course. I got one game up on him. But that was only after I started in on the tequila!!! Dammit. Next time I know to start drinking ahead of time.... Tho I think it will be 10 pin. His specialty...make it even more funny when i finally kick his ass.

Then of course to a pub we went for more drinks and food. Had awesome time. Awesome conversation, and laughs. And it lasted forever and ever. :) I was sad when it came to an end ... but Im sure there will be another one. I was told it was the best first date ever! :) So that has to be a good sign ....right?!?!?!

Well lets hope so.

On other news, babe is getting over her stomach flu. Tho still picky when it comes to eating. And still hates to sleep alone in her room. But mom has had enough with all the pickiness....I finally put my foot down. Last night was ok. She stayed in her room until about 1230 -1 am....which isnt bad. Then she really fought going back down.

*sighs* This I believe is going to be a loong week. Im not sure why. But I have this feeling. And I hate such feelings.

My brother and his gf are coming down end of march early april!! EXCITED!!!!!!! We're gonna have so much fun. Going to Whistler and then to Victoria, of course Stanely Park will be in there, and some other adventures!! My sister was going to come with , but...she and the family will come down hopefully in summertime if all works out.

I love 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like things are finally looking up . Who would have known. Now lets just hope it continues!!!!!

So Im sick. And of course I get sick right when Amaya decides to get sick for her first time. :( Not fun, let me tell you. I think the only cute thing about it , is the cuddles. The whining, throw up, poops, not sleeping, fevers and not eating she does....that isn't so fun. Tonight however Mike comes over to visit with her. I think Imma take a nap. Or clean , then take a nap. And tomorrow Mikes parents are coming to hang out with her. Bringing us some home made chicken noodle soup! YUM!!! So that will be a nice break for sure ! <3

Other then that tho, Karl and I are going out on Sat. That guy cracks me up !! I've gotten him to say "A dingo ate my baby" and he refuses to say " Add another shrimp on the bar-b./....or whatever that saying is. But I love the words he uses in place of ours. Very sexy voice!! Damn Aussies and there sexy accents!!!

And that will be my week. I have no other plans...cause Im going to relax for one weekend. Stop staying up till 10 30 in the morning! hahahahaha...

PAINTING!

So Ashley and I decided to paint the basement suite. And today we primed the kitchen and tomorrow we paint the kitchen and living room. Gonna be some good times. Good friends helping me out :) which is a bonus...since Ashley is working all day tomorrow!! ( booooo )

I think it will look good afterwards, but dont quote me on that , cause .....well interior decorating is SO NOT MY THING!!!!

I would post pics ..but I have non. And well .... our kitchen is a crap hole. Thats what you get for living in Surrey tho . Soon we will make this into a lovable chill place to come hang out tho :) Im excited for that to happen .

Our next mission will be the bedrooms. Green for my room ...with browns... ( looks cool on paper) and Ash - Yellow and brown...looks good...sounds like gross...its a pale yellow tho..and well Amaya ... we arnt too sure. A nice blue , and cute colors to match it :) Cause I hate pink ( which is my current bedroom color!)

SO , thats about it for me really. Nothing too new...the usual. Out and about with friends, and getting this place looking good :)

AMAYA WALKING!!

This is the video of her first steps. Captured my daddy at his home this past weekend. I am so proud of her. It seems like just yesterday she was nothing more then a little peanut sitting in a swing sleeping.....now she is a walking talking machine ready to take on the world !!! <3 I love you baby girl. Without you , life has no meaning . .

Who knew there was a wonderful fun filled world outside of my old basement suite :P

Since I have been out on my own... I have met new friends, been out and about with them , doing fun filled things and just enjoying life.
Sure I miss Mike. And I miss our little family. But I love being my own person again. I love having my own place, my own room , my own life. And I love sharing it with all my friends :)

I have been on the fence for so long about so many decisions and I think God finally said " THATS IT , IM GIVING YOU A SWIFT KICK TO GET STARTED!" And voila 2009 came upon us , and with that a new beginning :)

I have no regrets, for everything that has happened the past year, has lead me to this moment, and has actually taught me many things about myself, and about others. And I will take this new wisdom and I will put forth an honest attempt to change that which i have failed at in the past and remember that which others failed at ...and NOT DO IT AGAIN!!

I don't need anyone but myself, my family and my friends. That I know and will always remember. Everything else is a luxury in this life. Which i will no longer take for granted!!

YAY 2009!! Lets keep hoping for the best!!
